Overview
This was my final Ironhack project, a two-week sprint in collaboration with EnglishClub.com, a major platform for English learners. Our brief was to design a lightweight new product aimed at beginners, with no login, low bandwidth requirements, and a friendlier tone than the main site. We focused on quiz-based vocabulary learning and built a mobile-first app that tracks progress locally, helping users feel growth without needing an account.
Challenges
We had to build motivation and structure without relying on logins, profiles, or stored progress. The challenge was to make the app feel personal and useful from the very first click, especially for busy beginners learning independently.
Achievements
• Delivered a functional mobile-first prototype that helped EnglishClub test a new product concept for beginner learners and expand their reach to a previously underserved audience.
• Created a login-free progress model that aligned with business constraints and reduced technical overhead, which increased the feasibility of future implementation.
• Established a scalable quiz structure and brand identity, giving the team a clear foundation for continued development and future marketing.
